Alhamdulah, AML Council Executive Director me with the District Attorney on Thursday Nov 16, 2017 , to discuss issues concerning our community.
Furthermore, among some of the issues discussed were AML Council offering culture sensitivity seminars to Judges, and personnal from the D.A Office. The Rasul Saw said “Convey from me, even an Aya” and we as American Muslims should reach out to clear the common misconception about Islam, the DA (& her team), they listened attentively to the concerns presented to them and went above and beyond to resolve issues I discussed with the chief deputy assistant district attorney a few weeks ago! It’s refreshing to see great people in such a high profile and sensitive position that hold the checks and balances correct
